​​​ ​                                                  SAFE AND HYGIENIC WORKING PRACTICES AGREEMENT

By signing this agreement, the Contractor confirms that the work to be carried out on behalf of the Contracting Authority shall be executed in accordance with the legislation, decrees and provisions relating to this type of work, as established in the Dutch Working Conditions Act (Arbo-wet), in instructions issued by the Dutch Occupational Health and Safety Inspectorate (Arbeidsinspectie), in regulations and instructions issued by or on behalf of the Contracting Authority and in other legislation and regulations that apply to the work, including but not limited to the document entitled "The Handbook for Safety, Quality and Environment", version 14, April 2022.

In addition to this, the Contractor confirms the following with the signing of this agreement:
• The Contractor declares having received and read the document “Handbook for Safety, Quality and Environment”, having informed his employees about this document and will perform activities in accordance with this Handbook.
• The Contractor’s person signing this document is by virtue of his function authorised to do so.

In case of non-compliance with the above-mentioned legislation, regulations and instructions, the Contracting Authority reserves the right to:
• Stop the work;
• Remove the person or persons concerned from the work site.

The Contractor shall append the following documents to this agreement, which thereby become an integral part of this agreement:

A copy of the company’s SCC certificate, or a letter stating that the employees who will work at the sites of Darling Ingredients Netherlands are in possession of a valid SCC certificate, or a certificate of a comparable training.

This agreement is valid for a period of 3 years and applies to all work that is performed by the Contractor.
